Chapter 518 - Divinity
Chapter 518 - Divinity
"Senior Raisho… do you need my secret storage space to hide your belongings?" Leyvi asked cautiously, trying to confirm what he had just heard.
"That's right," Raisho replied without hesitation. "Even among Divine Lords, my divine sense is considered exceptional. If even I can't trace your storage, then it should be safe enough."
Leyvi swallowed.
Something about this felt… dangerous. Not the obvious kind, but the kind that quietly drags you into a storm you never signed up for. The kind of situation that always happened in those ridiculous novels where the protagonist just had to get involved in someone else's trouble.
But how was he supposed to refuse a Divinity?
Oh great lord family motto… please guide me out of this. I've always avoided being a busybody, yet trouble keeps chasing me down like I owe it money. Why is it always like this?
"Senior Raisho, I have a question," Anda suddenly said.
"Go on," Raisho replied, already expecting something from her.
Anda looked at him steadily, her expression turning serious in a completely different direction.
"Senior… are you trying to hide something from your wife?" she asked.
A brief pause.
"An affair?"
For the first time in what might have been millions of years, Raisho nearly lost his footing. His body visibly jolted, as if reality itself had tripped him.
Even Leyvi froze on the spot, utterly dumbfounded by the sudden accusation.
Raisho quickly steadied himself, staring at Anda in disbelief. "How did you even arrive at that conclusion?"
Anda crossed her arms, completely unfazed. "Just now, you complained that you wish your wife trusted you more. And now you want my husband to help you hide something. If I put those together, the answer is obvious."
She narrowed her eyes slightly. "Senior… are you having an affair?"
Raisho stood there, speechless. Is this the same girl I praised for being sharp just now?
"Confess, Senior Raisho!" Anda pressed on without the slightest hesitation. "As a Divinity that countless people aspire to become, isn't it shameful to not even dare admit it? If you want multiple women, then do it openly and properly by informing your wife. Not like this, sneaking around in an affair!"
Leyvi felt his head spin. What is she doing…? Why is she scolding a Divinity over this of all things?
Even if he is having an affair, what does that have to do with us? Please… remember our lord family motto…
Raisho fell silent for a moment, his gaze settling on Anda as if reassessing her entirely.
Then he spoke. "Little panda… you've misunderstood. Those two matters are unrelated."
Anda raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Then what exactly are you trying to hide, Senior? We may be insignificant, but our family doesn't tolerate unfaithfulness. If you want my husband's help, you'll need to prove this has nothing to do with any kind of marital affair."
A soft chuckle slipped out of Raisho.
"Kid…" he said, looking at Leyvi, "you truly have a fearless wife. This is the first time since I became a Divinity that I've met a Core Formation Realm junior who not only dares to attack me, but also tries to play mind games with me. Hahaha!"
He laughed freely, clearly amused.
Anda's lips twitched slightly. So he noticed…
Raisho's laughter gradually faded, his expression turning more serious.
"Like I said before… you're fortunate it was me who showed up today. If it had been someone else, you might have already been erased from existence."
Leyvi and Anda both felt a chill run down their spines.
"Sigh… I'm not exaggerating," Raisho continued, his gaze now firmly on Anda. "Listen carefully, especially you, young lady. In the future, if you ever encounter other Divinities, and unless you've reached a realm where your thoughts can be completely isolated… do not attempt to play mind games with them."

His voice carried a quiet weight.
"Because they can see right through you. And that alone… is enough reason for them to kill you."
Anda's confident demeanor finally cracked, if only slightly. She gave an awkward smile. She had indeed been seen through completely.
Raisho turned to Leyvi. "You too, kid. Don't let your wife run wild. Keep her in check. Being overconfident without fully grasping the situation can easily lead to her downfall. Unless you understand what those at higher realms are capable of, don't try your luck. Understand?"
At this point, he had begun to take a liking to this unusual couple, and his words carried a rare trace of genuine guidance.
"I will listen to your advice, Senior Raisho," Leyvi replied, nodding obediently.
Deep down, he agreed. Anda might have grown a little too confident lately. Her recent success in manipulating situations without any setbacks had likely emboldened her. Perhaps… it was time for a proper talk once they returned.
Raisho smiled faintly. "That said, I know you did that for your husband's sake, young wife. Even if you hadn't tried to bait me, I still intended to explain what I'm trying to hide. There's no need to worry."
Anda maintained her awkward smile. So he really saw through everything… She had overestimated herself.
In the next moment, Raisho slowly raised his hand.
Something began to form above his palm.
At first, it looked like light… but that illusion quickly fell apart.
It was a mass of radiant essence, pure and resplendent, shifting in constant motion. Layers of intricate patterns unfolded within it like countless worlds overlapping and dissolving into one another. Colors that didn't seem to belong to any known spectrum flickered through its surface, flowing like liquid concepts rather than mere light.
Despite its brilliance, it didn't blind the eyes.
Instead, it felt as if it bypassed sight entirely, imprinting itself directly onto their minds.
Leyvi and Anda could feel it.
Power.
Not the kind they were familiar with, not spiritual energy, not mental energy. This was something far beyond that, something that felt whole… complete… as if it carried within it the weight of existence itself.
It was as though a fragment of the universe had been condensed into that small space above Raisho's palm.
And yet, it remained perfectly stable. If they had to describe it with a single word…
Divine.
The word didn't feel like an exaggeration. It felt like the only possible answer.
Leyvi and Anda stood frozen, their eyes locked onto the radiant existence hovering above Raisho's palm. For a moment, neither of them could even form a coherent thought. The very idea that something like this could exist… it completely shattered their understanding of power.
Was this… what Senior Raisho wanted to hide? They couldn't help but wonder.
Yet, at this moment, the most shaken person in the room wasn't them.
It was Alita.
Her entire being trembled as she stared at the ever-shifting brilliance. Unlike Leyvi and Anda, she recognized it instantly. This was the very thing she had pursued all her life, the final step she had failed to reach, the boundary she could never cross.
That light…That existence…It was Divinity.
Her voice trembled slightly, though she didn't dare interrupt.
"This… is my Divinity," Raisho said calmly, as if he were presenting something ordinary. Then he smiled. "And I want you to hide it for me."
Leyvi's eyes widened to their limits.
"This… this is your Divinity? And you want me to… hide it?"
His thoughts collided with one another, turning into a complete mess. Shock, disbelief, confusion, a faint trace of fear… all of it tangled together until his mind simply gave up trying to process it.
Raisho laughed lightly at their reaction. "I know this is a lot for you to take in. No need to rush. Take your time and sort out your thoughts."
With that, he casually stepped away, as if leaving behind something insignificant, and gestured for Alita to follow him.
The Divinity remained where it was. Floating quietly. Waiting.
As Raisho began speaking with Alita at a distance, Leyvi and Anda remained rooted in place, their gaze never leaving the ethereal light. Time seemed to stretch around them, their thoughts slowly catching up with reality.
Minutes passed. Then hours.
Only after a long while did the two of them finally begin to regain some clarity, their minds slowly piecing together what they were truly looking at.
Eventually, Raisho returned.
He approached them with the same relaxed smile as before, as if nothing extraordinary had just happened.
"Well?" he asked casually. "Amazing, isn't it?"
His eyes flicked between the two of them. "Do you have any questions?"
"Senior Raisho, why do you want to hide your Divinity? Are you being chased by your enemies or something? I don't want to offend you, but I really don't want to get involved if that's the case," Leyvi said truthfully.
Raisho chuckled. "That's a valid concern, but all my enemies died long ago. After I attained Divinity, I wiped them out. Now I'm as free as I could be, apart from my job, of course."
Leyvi let out a relieved sigh. If there were no enemies, then it was fine. "Then why do you need to hide it?"
"For my cultivation," Raisho replied. "This Divinity is only a tiny fraction of my power. If I fail in my attempt to become a Divine King, I will have to start over. During that period of weakness, I don't want some random thief stealing my Divinity. So this is a backup plan. Now, try to store it."
Leyvi hesitated for a moment before reaching out and taking it.
The instant it rested in his palm, the overwhelming presence he felt earlier became far more tangible. It was no longer something distant and untouchable. It felt as if he was holding countless worlds compressed into a single point, heavy not in weight, but in existence itself.
He willed it to disappear.
The ethereal divine light that had been illuminating the entire room vanished in an instant.
"How is it?" Raisho asked.
Leyvi nodded. "It's in. No problem at all."
"Hahaha! Great. Now let me try to sense it."
Raisho immediately activated his abilities. He used every method available to him, probing through space, tracing fluctuations, divination, and even searching for the faintest residual trace.
Nothing.
It was as if his Divinity had completely disappeared from the universe.
The result exceeded even Raisho's expectations.
