Chapter 112 Dr. Zola

Chapter 112 Dr. Zola

Link added, "Now they've developed something like serums that can heal injuries, but there's a limit to how much that healing can do."

"Once the body suffers too much damage, it will inevitably collapse and eventually explode."

"An explosion?" Stark vaguely remembered it, but not clearly; he couldn't recall exactly what it was. "So what do we do now?"

Link thought for a moment, then said, "There's nothing we can do right now; we can only wait for Nick Fury to come to us."

"Tony, you and Bruce don't leave Stark Tower. Also, make sure Pepper doesn't leave."

"I'll go back to Osborn Tower, the rest of you stay at headquarters. Nick Fury should be looking for us soon."

"Only he knows the specifics and has a way to take down Hydra. After all, this organization is too large, and many of its members are innocent."

"We can't kill everyone."

Captain America agreed with Link's idea and said, "Alright, we can only wait now."

"But what about this USB drive?"

"Nick Fury gave this to me!"

Link said, "It probably won't be very useful, but let's take a look anyway!"

After saying that, he looked at Natasha, who took the USB drive from the captain, plugged it into a laptop, and began to decipher it.

"A signal has been sent out!" she said while deciphering the code.

Link said nonchalantly, "It doesn't matter, it's not a secret here anyway. Let's see what's inside."

Soon, the decryption was completed, and it turned out to be an address.

Link knew that this was where Dr. Zola of Hydra stored the data after he digitized his thought patterns.

Of course, it was also a trap, to lure the Avengers there and then destroy it with missiles.

After thinking it over, Link decided to go anyway. After all, although he knew a lot of things, he couldn't say them because he had no source of information. But if he went, he could say some things.

"I'm going, you guys stay here." Link insisted on going himself.

"You're going by yourself?" Steve said. "Or should I go with you?"

"No need. The three of you will be responsible for the security of headquarters. With Tony and Bruce together, the strength will not be weakened, and it will still be convenient for me to go back and forth." Link shook his head.

"Don't worry, I can create my own universe, why would I be afraid of these little problems?"

Indeed, it's unbelievable that Link went to space and actually ordered a spaceship to return. Now, someone really needs to protect the Avengers headquarters.

Link used his flying skateboard, attached it to his back, and flew away after inputting the coordinates.

He moved very quickly, arriving at the coordinates a little over an hour later, and then landed.

This was previously a military base during World War II, where S.H.I.E.L.D. was once located. Link didn't waste any time and made his way to the underground section, where Dr. Zola's digitized brain was located.

After inserting the USB drive, the old-fashioned computer here starts up.

"Link~" came the electronic voice, and it was Link's name called out in Mandarin.

Link saw Dr. Zola's face on an old-fashioned monitor. "So, this is a trap?"

"Your reaction was indeed quick. Are all psychology students this good?" Dr. Zola asked, somewhat surprised. "But how could you remain so calm knowing it was a trap?"

"Because you Hydra don't know how powerful I am, but it doesn't matter. Is there anything you want to say?" Link then took out his energy gun and began to destroy the machines step by step.

Dr. Zola laughed and said, "The Avengers will soon disappear, and Hydra will rise."

"Is it your Insight Project?" Link asked with a smile.

"..." Dr. Zola was quite humanly astonished.

Link continued, "Is it a space carrier?"

"Tsk tsk~ You have no idea how powerful the Avengers are. I just ordered a spaceship from space. Do you think your space carrier is a match for us?"

"Even our Yan-type fighter jets are no match for you. With such a large space carrier taking off, it's just a sitting duck, yet you're so smug about it."

"The technological gap is huge!"

Link raised his hand, blocking the data storage device beside him, and fired a shot. "Whoosh... Boom!"

One machine was destroyed, but that didn't affect Dr. Zola's presence. His voice suddenly became sharp, "You're too arrogant. You'll be buried here soon."

He immediately continued the attack, completely ignoring the incoming missiles, and utterly destroyed the place.

As for whether Dr. Zola was finished or not, he didn't care. After destroying the place, he looked around again, then raised his left hand, clenched it slightly, and a blue spatial passage appeared behind him. He took a step back and walked in.

After the spatial passage disappeared, a missile accurately hit the spot.

Hydra agents also arrived and searched the area in an attempt to find Link's body.

Link didn't go too far. He appeared on the outskirts of the base, observed the Hydra search team, and then took out his energy gun and began to kill.

……

Nick Fury is indeed not dead, but he doesn't have many people he can trust now. Under Maria Hill's arrangement, he has secretly gone into hiding to treat his injuries.

S.H.I.E.L.D. naturally has many drugs, including some miraculous ones. Since he didn't die, he naturally didn't need the dragon bone.

"Hill, how's it outside?" Fury lay in bed receiving an IV drip, his voice sounding somewhat weak.

"Pierce sent men to attack the Avengers, but they were all wiped out. The Avengers haven't made any moves yet; I guess they're waiting," Hill said.

Fury wasn't surprised and asked, "Is Lin back?"

"Yes, he rushed to the hospital, probably discovered something, and then led his men back to Avengers headquarters. They were attacked en route, and it seems they captured some people alive." Hill's intelligence capabilities have always been exceptional.

She gathered almost all the information. "Should we contact them?"

"Go see Lin yourself. He is very intelligent. Tell him what happened and then arrange for them to come over," Fury said.

Hill nodded, then turned and left.

Link was right behind the Osborn Building. After eliminating the Hydra searchers, he returned directly to the Osborn Building, where Jessica was still waiting for news from him.

The two became intimate, and then lay on the bed. He immediately recounted his experiences, albeit with modifications, as he didn't want to reveal his identity as a time traveler; it was his deepest secret.
