Chapter 127 Attack
Link sat up abruptly, looking at the Reality Stone in his hand. A surge of energy flowed into his body, but Link didn't react much.
Superman's physique made him exceptionally powerful, so he didn't feel the effects too intensely. He estimated the combined power of the six Infinity Stones, though the final effect might be doubled if all six were gathered together.
Odin, the king of the gods, looked at Link with a complicated expression. He didn't know if Link was actually from Earth, since Earthlings shouldn't be as powerful as Link.
Last time, he only demonstrated speed, but now he has seen molecular energy. The ether particles are easily attracted out, which indicates that its life energy is exceptionally large.
Thor was busy hugging his girlfriend and didn't pay any attention to Link.
Link pondered for a moment, then held the Reality Stone in his hand and asked, "Your Majesty, shall Asgard safeguard this stone?"
"However, it could bring disaster!"
With that, Link handed over the Reality Stone.
Odin shook his head and said, "You should keep it."
"I know you sold a Power Gem. It seems you don't want to collect them; it's safer to keep them in your hands."
Link was taken aback. He had only meant to be friendly. The Infinity Stones weren't of much use to him. His first target was the Space Stone, and his second target was the Mind Stone.
Having these two is enough; they can make up for some of my shortcomings and are also very convenient.
Neither the Reality Stone nor the Power Stone were part of his plan. He wanted to entrust the Reality Stone to Asgard for safekeeping, but they refused.
Didn't Odin believe that gems shouldn't be brought together?
Why don't you want it anymore now?
"Okay, I'll keep it for now!" Link nodded.
Odin then instructed Thor to entertain the guests, while he himself turned and left. Thor immediately ordered preparations to be made for the evening's feast.
Link was naturally going to stay for a few days. The dark elves would probably arrive soon, and he didn't want Asgard to be attacked right after he left.
Then, didn't I come all this way for nothing?
Asgard has a rich variety of food, but it mainly consists of meat, fruit, and torpedoes, which are delicious when roasted, perhaps because the ingredients are of such high quality.
Moreover, the drinks were far superior to those on Earth; they were all wine. Link ate and drank to his heart's content, getting all the Asgardians at the banquet drunk. Thor was pulled away by Jane Foster and escaped unharmed.
……
Link slept very comfortably in the soft bed. When he woke up early the next morning, he washed up and walked out of the bedroom, looking at the vibrant Asgard in the morning.
I walked out of the palace alone and strolled around the streets. The area was in the style of medieval Europe, but it was quite exquisite, without the muddy dirt roads.
Back at the palace after breakfast, Thor formally thanked Link and invited him to stay a few more days.
Link suggested going to read books. He had read a lot before and was now preparing to continue reading, with the main purpose of developing a translator.
This is something the Avengers desperately need. After all, they've entered the universe, and the first essential element is language. But there are so many languages in the universe, they need a translator.
The Asgardians don't use translators because their lifespans are so long that they can learn numerous languages, while Earthlings don't have that kind of energy.
Just as Link was reading, a piercing sound suddenly rang out. Link guessed that this was the alarm of Asgard.
He put down the book, got up and walked outside, where he saw Thor flying in the sky. However, he wasn't flying towards the Rainbow Bridge. Link didn't know the exact location, but he guessed it was the prison.
Link didn't go over there, but instead looked towards the Rainbow Bridge. The Dark Elf warships had the ability to become invisible, something Link really envied.
This is very useful for the Avenger and the Swallow fighter, but are their technical characteristics consistent?
Link needs to wait and see!
"Boom..." Link suddenly took to the air without using his flight skateboard. His battle suit then covered his entire body, and a huge cloak billowed behind him.
His suit included a cloak, though he never used it. The cloak was made of vibranium, thanks to nanotechnology, which allowed for endless variations.
Link charged straight toward the Rainbow Bridge. Odin stood in the palace, watching Link with a mixture of surprise and uncertainty in his heart.
Just then, Heimdall sensed something and suddenly rushed out from the Rainbow Bridge, then jumped to the side, revealing a uniquely shaped fighter jet.
After Heimdall destroyed the intruder, he landed back on the Rainbow Bridge and turned to look towards the universe. A huge spaceship slowly rose up, and several fighter jets rushed past him.
However, their luck had run out. Link had already reached the lake, holding an energy pistol in each hand.
"Whoosh..." After a few bursts of fire, all of the Dark Elf's fighters were shot down, and then Link rushed towards the last mothership.
Odin breathed a sigh of relief. This Link didn't intend to do anything; he had simply discovered the intruder. Odin then looked towards the massive mothership in the direction of the Rainbow Bridge—it was a Dark Elf warship.
Was it the appearance of ether particles that attracted them?
It seems the Avengers are indeed trustworthy allies, not just people who take from you!
"Your Majesty, someone has invaded the palace." At this moment, a guard rushed over.
Odin frowned and said, "Let's go!"
A massive spaceship was no problem for Link. He used the power of the Reality Stone, and although it was his first time using it, there were no issues whatsoever.
After he put on the Reality Stone yesterday, he understood how to use it; the stone had taught him.
Both the Space Stone and the Reality Stone seem to really like themselves.
Link clenched his left hand, and the massive warship immediately transformed into a giant Patrick Star.
He also had a wicked sense of humor. The Reality Stone couldn't make permanent changes; it was like magic, capable of temporarily altering everything in reality, including living beings.
The giant Patrick Star saw the Hub ahead and immediately became excited. With his big eyes wide open, he jumped right in.
"Boom..." The waves shot up high, and then it began to play in the water. However, the dark elves inside were unlucky; one by one, they were shaken out or squeezed out.
Heimdall was dumbfounded. He didn't realize that the Reality Stone was in Link's hands. The sudden change caught him off guard. He had originally intended to raise the palace's shield, but what should he do now?
Asgardian airships rushed over, aiming at Hobo below; the dark elves were their enemies.
