Chapter 141 Training Twins
Chapter 141 Training Twins
Chapter 141 Training Twins
Link's training was surprisingly effective. For several days in a row, he trained alone in the suburbs, occasionally visiting Wanda and Pietro, while also creating nanosuits for them.
He was to take care of the brother and sister, since he was the one who brought them back. The other Avengers had no objections, given that the two were still quite young.
However, their abilities are outstanding, and it would be a good thing for the Avengers to join them.
Pietro's most notable characteristic is his absolute speed. Link is still designed according to the Project skin, giving him the appearance of the Master Yi skin, along with a sword.
In addition to his speed training, he also added swordsmanship training. Because the speed is fast enough, the use of a sword can cause the most damage, and it also prevents him from hitting people with his fists and hurting himself.
Pietro's control over speed is still too poor, and this must be taken seriously. Although Link prevented Ultron from appearing, Pietro no longer needs to take bullets for anyone.
However, his approach was too mediocre, and he still lacked a clear understanding of his own speed.
The bullets should have been moving very slowly in front of him, so why would he use his body to block them?
For the owner of super speed, this is the most foolish way, and also his own shortcoming.
The battle sword is designed to be large and distinctive, and most importantly, it is suitable for slicing. At extremely high speeds, the sword is extremely sharp, somewhat embodying the idea that speed is the ultimate weapon in martial arts.
As for Wanda's battle suit, Link hesitated for a long time before choosing the Katarina skin as the design for her appearance.
Link had considered it, since there weren't many Project skins that suited her, but he didn't like her look in the movie, so it was also to maintain a consistent style.
Link himself, along with Jessica, now have two more twin siblings. The four of them share the same skin color. Jessica's special skin is currently unknown, but if it is ever discovered, she will inevitably join the Avengers.
Wanda doesn't have a pair of daggers, and this suit is designed to make her more agile, as she can fly using magic. Of course, she lacks the lineage of a witch, something Link can't help her with.
Link doesn't know how to find Agatha Harkness, the witch, or even if he can find her at all.
Even if we find her, how can we get her to teach Wanda?
So, let's stop thinking about it and just let Wanda get familiar with the most basic usage first.
Link personally crafted nanosuits for them and gave them to them. In addition to these, they also needed to study, since their parents died early and their education level was not high due to the war.
They can't pilot the Swallow fighter jet, so they can only learn it first. It's not a big problem if they can't pilot it in the future. Link didn't plan to send them to the space headquarters.
It wasn't a suitable place for them to utilize their abilities. Since Natasha and Clint were at the Earth headquarters and their strength was insufficient, they were made to serve as permanent members to supplement the combat power here.
Both of them loved their suits and, with some guidance from Link, adjusted their training methods. Pietro, on the other hand, was still getting used to his top speed, and then he would get used to the speed of bullets.
The suit is made of vibranium and is bulletproof, so you can just fire at him with a pistol and let him get used to the speed of the bullets.
As for Wanda, Link only familiarized her with the basics; her current abilities are limited to three aspects: destruction, control, and movement.
Destruction is easy; you can use your own abilities to create an impact. This is the most basic and crude way to use it. An energy gun can handle it, but controlling it is a bit more difficult.
In Avengers: Endgame, she even managed to control Thanos for a time, ultimately forcing him to order his warships to attack indiscriminately.
The most difficult aspect is undoubtedly movement. She can also fly, and the suit was designed to make her sufficiently agile, which is essential.
A deeper application is that Wanda can influence other people's thinking, which is a matter for further training. However, without a training subject, it's impossible to actually influence anyone's thinking for the sake of training.
Therefore, Link only summarized three basics. If these are mastered, ordinary people will be no match for Wanda.
……
"This is the Void, I am the Collector, they are coming, I need your help..."
Link listened to the communications log from the Avenger, then turned to Peggy and asked, "Did you just receive this today?"
“Yes!” Peggy said, “After I joined, I learned that this warship was bought; it was sold to you by an alien called the Collector.”
"So, I notified you immediately after receiving it."
Link activated the communication system to contact the collector.
"Lin, is that you?" The collector seemed to be alright.
Link asked, "What happened there?"
The collector said, "Someone is looking for the Orb of the Universe, you know what I mean."
"Of course I know, but nobody knows I sold it to you!" Link asked curiously. "Why are you so worried?"
"It's Ronan, the commander Ronan, he's a Kree," the Collector explained. "He sent men to find the Orb of the Universe, and they clashed with a raider called Star-Lord, but neither side got it."
"They're all searching!"
"Get to the point!" Link now knew the gist of it: the Guardians of the Galaxy storyline had begun, but a change had occurred: the Orb was missing.
Link didn't care whether this goofy duo could reunite, since they were still on Earth anyway, and their fighting power was really quite limited.
"One of my slaves, the one you met last time, betrayed me and took a single-person spaceship," the Collector finally said.
Link was speechless. Didn't he have any means of controlling his slaves?
Of course, if the Collector were still alive, the runaway slave would have been caught soon, but she knew that the Collector possessed the Cosmic Orb and had unlocked it.
She knew what the Power Stone was; she was there when Link went there.
Link said, "I understand. I'll take my men there as soon as possible, but you can't lower your price."
"Don't worry, as long as I'm safe, everything will be fine." The collector immediately agreed.
Link didn't quite understand why this guy, who was so wealthy and owned a huge corporation, didn't have his own fleet.
Link didn't quite understand the alien civilization's thinking. After hanging up the communication, he turned to Peggy and said, "The plan has changed!"
