Chapter 146 Gamora and Star-Lord

Chapter 146 Gamora and Star-Lord

Chapter 146 Gamora and Star-Lord

Ronan was defeated and Nebula was captured. Thanos already knew this and needed to know the details, so Gamora volunteered to accept the mission.

She wanted to get rid of Thanos, and this might be a good opportunity, so she and Star-Lord encountered each other again.

Rocket Bear and Gluck are also on Xandar. Will there be more stories between them?

……

Link reached a diplomatic agreement with Xandar, and the two sides maintained communication, nothing more.

Xandar maintains communication with the Avengers, not Earth. After all, Earth is not unified and has too many countries. Once Xandar understands this, it will inevitably stop communicating with them, as it's an unequal relationship.

Earth needs to develop, and the Avengers are merely pioneers. The issues involved are extremely complex, so complex that Link doesn't even want to talk about them.

It's enough for the Avengers to keep in touch, and Link agrees. Human nature is too complicated, and he's not prepared to establish contact between Earth and interstellar space, otherwise there will be no shortage of problems.

He then led his people on a tour of Xandar and obtained a copy of their star map, which essentially achieved his goal.

"Hey, you guys look like Earthlings!" Star-Lord said to Link and the others, seemingly surprised.

"I'm also from Earth."

Link smiled and said, "Indeed, we come from Earth, and you came in from Earth too?"

"Earth didn't have the ability to travel between stars before."

"Ah, that's right, I was abducted by aliens when I was a kid." Star-Lord started his talkative mode, rambling on and on to get closer to Link and the others.

Link doesn't particularly like the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the dance crew's fighting strength is just so-so. Moreover, it's unclear whether they will reunite. But Star-Lord's father is a problem.

This guy planted something on Earth, but Link doesn't know exactly where. If possible, killing him would be a good option.

Moreover, Star-Lord is a seasoned veteran in the universe, so talking to him is not a bad idea. The exchange between the two was quite pleasant.

However, Gamora also joined in at this moment. She went straight to Link and asked, "Can we talk?"

Link raised an eyebrow, then asked, "Who are you?"

"I come from Thanos, did you know that?" Gamora asked.

Star-Lord gasped, and the other Avengers' expressions changed as well. Link nodded and said, "Okay, let's find a place to sit down!"

Link led them into a place that looked like a restaurant and ordered some Xandar drinks, which Gamora had recommended.

Everyone tried it, and it tasted pretty good. Then Link asked, "What do you want to talk about?"

"Thanos is a madman," Gamora said. "He wants the Infinity Stones."

As she spoke, her gaze fell on Link's hand. "You actually collected four of them, and you just brought them out like that. This will cause you a lot of trouble."

"Are you one of Thanos's men?" Link asked in return.

"Yes, he made me call him father!" Gamora said through gritted teeth. "He took my home planet, killed half of its inhabitants, and then took me away. He trained me to be an assassin."

"You are very powerful and possess four Infinity Stones. He wants to collect all six. Once he has all six, he can wipe out half the population of the entire universe with a snap of his fingers."

"He's a madman!"

Link glanced at the others, then at Gamora, and asked, "So, what are your thoughts?"

"I hope to join you. He will definitely come looking for you in the future, and only then will I have a chance to take revenge."

T'Challa asked, "How can we trust you?"

"I can testify that I have intelligence on Thanos," Gamora said. "His entire military force, bases, and so on."

Link thought for a moment. If he took Gamora with him, the Guardians of the Galaxy would probably be gone.

That's not bad either. At least even if something goes wrong, Star-Lord won't smash Thanos in anger. He then said, "Okay, I can accept you for now, but we'll be keeping an eye on you."

"No problem. I used the excuse of gathering information about you this time, and I didn't intend to go back. But is Nebula in your hands?" Gamora asked again.

"You mean the woman with the mechanical body?" Bruce asked.

"Yes, she's kind of my sister. Thanos captured her and trained her. He made us compete, and whoever lost would have a part of their body modified." Gamora said, her body trembling involuntarily, while Star-Lord, driven by lust, leaned closer.

However, he got punched by Gamora.

"She's in our hands. We can even get a lot of information from her, which we can compare with your intelligence," Link said. "Of course, we won't kill her."

"What happens next depends on the specific circumstances. What are Thanos's current goals?"

Gamora shook her head and said, "He doesn't have any plans to attack Earth for the time being, or maybe he does, but I don't know. After all, the previous probing made him give up for the time being."

"Or perhaps we could conquer another planet and kill half of its inhabitants."

Link frowned. This didn't feel good. After all, Thanos didn't have the strength to attack Earth right now, and without the yellow sun, he didn't dare to go and act arrogantly.

The two sides are currently at a relative peace, but this peace can be broken. How will it be broken?

Gamora clearly didn't know much, and now Link understood the future trajectory. He completely changed things, infinitely increasing the power of Earth and the Avengers.

The Avengers can now take on Thanos and his fleet single-handedly, no problem. But Thanos isn't stupid; he won't come to Earth on his own.

At least Odin and the Ancient One are still here. If he comes to attack now, he has no chance of winning against the Avengers. What is he doing here?

The Infinity Gauntlet he was holding was fake; it was probably designed by him to hold the Infinity Stones, but he needed the craftsmanship of the dwarves to make it.

With the Rainbow Bridge in his possession, he cannot attack the dwarves' territory, nor can he forge the Infinity Gauntlet. It seems that Thanos needs to break the deadlock, while Link can only be passive.

This doesn't feel right. After all, Link's understanding of this universe is limited, while Gamora is a good choice.

"Welcome to the Avengers!" Link extended his hand. Gamora wasn't very familiar with Earth's customs, so Star-Lord reminded her.

The two shook hands, which was a temporary acceptance of Gamora, but what will happen next is still uncertain.
