Chapter 162 Easily Solved

They looked at each other, realizing they really didn't know what the mysterious man had done.

Just then, someone behind them said, "Gentlemen, perhaps I know."

Everyone turned to look, and there stood Phil Coulson. Stark asked, "Coulson? It's been a long time since you've shown up."

"We've been fighting Hydra, and your battle has attracted the world's attention, including S.H.I.E.L.D., which happened to see Lin's situation," Coulson said. "Director Fury told me that we might be able to turn to Dr. Hank Pym for help."

"He was a scientist at S.H.I.E.L.D., and also the first Ant-Man?"

"What is Ant-Man?" Bruce asked.

"His invention, the Pym Particle, can shrink a person or any object to the size of an ant," Coulson said. "He has extensive knowledge of the quantum realm, but he left S.H.I.E.L.D. early in his career to found Pym Corporation."

"As for whether Lin has entered the quantum realm, we don't know. We can only ask him now."

Stark said, "Then what are we waiting for?"

"We should bring Lin back quickly!"

A spaceship approached Earth, and communications on Earth began to be disrupted, followed by the hacking of television and radio broadcasts.

In the farm’s new villa, Martha, Clark and Louise were having dinner. Clark did not object to Louise’s arrival, as he would soon be appearing in front of the public.

He realized this was an opportunity, especially since the other party was a reporter. It would be good if someone could report truthfully on what he was going to do in the future.

The two were having a good talk when the television screen went static, and a blurry figure appeared, broadcasting his demands in various languages.

Louise asked, "Are they looking for you?"

"Yes, they are indeed looking for me, but their motives are not simple. Our maternal instincts have been destroyed, and they need to find a new planet," Clark said. "They will not live in peace with Earth."

"However, before they reveal their purpose, no one may believe what I say, so I still need to show up."

Louise asked with some concern, "What will happen to you?"

"I don't know!" Clark shook his head. "But don't worry, I have my own helpers."

"You can report it however you want when the time comes; I just need a channel to voice my opinions."

"I understand." Louise then asked, "And what about your helper?"

"He won't show up now. He'll only appear after they reveal their intentions. Alright, let's be patient and wait to see what they do next!" Clark said with a smile.

The whole world was searching for him, but Clark waited and then went to a nearby U.S. military base.

The events unfolded much like before, except this time Clark went alone, the key was in Link's hands, and Link used his spatial abilities to infiltrate the spaceship.

The key was inserted into the spaceship's system, and artificial intelligence intruded, but it did not immediately change the gas composition. Clark still fainted.

After all, it's crucial to get Zod and his forces to take action and show Earth that peace is not an option.

That's part of the plan too!

Zod, even more impatient, imprisoned Clark after he fainted and handed him over to the scientists on the spaceship. The spaceship began to disintegrate, and the World Engine broke off and began to fall toward Earth.

Earthlings panicked. They had already handed over the people, so why did they still need to enter Earth?

Two enormous world engines arrived on opposite sides of the Earth. They launched shockwaves to open a passage to the Earth's core, then reversed the Earth's magnetic field, altering the structure of the entire atmosphere.

Fighter jets were immediately dispatched from Earth in an attempt to destroy it, but the missiles launched by the fighter jets were guided off course by the magnetic field around the World Engine and were unable to carry out their attack.

At this moment, the artificial intelligence began to work, converting the air inside the spaceship in outer space. Clark woke up immediately, and Link also began to take action.

He directly opened a spatial portal and appeared on Earth. He destroyed one world engine, and the other also stopped.

Both sides are synchronized and need to work together; having only one machine is completely useless.

Link then opened the spatial portal again, appearing on the other side of Earth, and destroyed the other one as well. The remaining question was what Zod would do and wait for others.

The battle began. Link was on Earth, while Clark was on a spaceship in outer space. The battle was temporarily one-sided because the Kryptonians had not yet fully absorbed the radiation from the yellow sun. Link dealt with them as quickly as possible.

They wiped them all out, then sent the bodies to a small fighter jet, which was then sent into outer space, leaving not a single one alive.

Clark looked at Zod and said, "You've failed. Now, leave."

"No, you're still a Kryptonian! How could you do this?" Zod shouted angrily, but his body began to have problems, including his vision, hearing, and sense of smell. Clark was very familiar with this process.

He was too young at the time, the process was rather long, and he arrived quite late, while Zod was born with the genes of a general, and he adapted very quickly.

"Whoosh~" A spatial portal appeared, and Link walked in, then removed the key and went to the command room.

Seeing Zod's appearance, he understood, and asked, "Clark, aren't you going to kill him?"

"I've taken care of everyone else. If you can't bring yourself to do it, then I'll do it."

Zod looked at Link in surprise and asked, "Who are you?"

"That's not important. What's important is that you are no match for me." Link said as he stepped forward. General Zod moved at that moment. He suddenly stood up and threw a punch. Link easily caught it, and the energy of the impact spread outwards.

That's a sufficient explanation for the Kryptonian spaceship; otherwise, the shockwave would have destroyed it.

"You're still too weak." Link punched him in the stomach, then twisted his arm and then grabbed his neck. Link found he liked twisting necks.

"Crack!" He was the kind of person who would rather take action than speak, so he killed the man directly and then said, "I'll go deal with their bodies."

Clark was still in a daze when the artificial intelligence appeared. Jor-El's shadow comforted him, "Don't be sad. Zod is a product of the old era, just like me and your mother. We should all disappear."

"And you are the hope of the new era."
