Chapter 21 The Card Game
The two should have had no further interaction, but Link has recently become famous in New York, and Tony Stark came to New York to check on the progress of Stark Tower.
Of course, some business partners still needed to be met, so Pepper Booz arranged a cocktail party.
They talked about playing cards and mentioned Link, a rising star in the game.
Tony Stark then remembered the guy who had won five million from him, and he immediately asked him for Link's phone number.

"This is so surprising!" Jessica exclaimed in shock.

The next day, the two went out for dinner. Link brought Jessica back, and then picked out his own clothes, shirt, tie, cufflinks, watch, and leather shoes.
He also carried his own weapons, which he concealed with his suit jacket. Link also brought a checkbook and three cigars.
"How is it?" Link turned to Jessica and asked.
"Great!" Jessica straightened Link's tie. "But don't worry too much about winning or losing."
"Don't worry, Stark is no match for me." Link gave Jessica a reassuring look.
I went downstairs, got in my car, and sped to a large hotel where private rooms were available.
"Mr. Stark!" Link exclaimed as he entered, seeing Tony Stark. "Didn't expect you to be here so early?"
"Of course, I'm the challenger this time, so I won't be late." Tony Stark invited Link to sit down. "What would you like to drink?"
"Bourbon!" Link then pulled out a cigar. "I learned a lot in Las Vegas last time, cigars and bourbon!"
"That's good, you should learn to enjoy life. But I heard you've made playing cards your profession?" Tony Stark asked. "And you haven't lost a single game so far?"
"I haven't lost yet, but I don't have enough confidence if I participate in international competitions." Link said modestly, "After all, I lack experience in these professional competitions."
"Maybe I'll try it sometime; it's all professional there."
"You might not be able to beat me today." Stark raised an eyebrow. "There are two more people coming later, one is a bank director, and the other you know, Justin Hammer."
"Would Mr. Hammer still like to play cards with us?" Link's expression was a little strange.
"Haha~" Tony Stark laughed. "He's a man who never gives up."
His tone was full of mockery, probably because he was provoked by Stark again.
Soon, the other two arrived, and Justin Hammer, true to form, said to Link, "Today we're playing thirteen cards, and I'm not going to lose again."
"I'm glad you like it," Link replied with a smile.
Tony Stark sat down and said, "Ten thousand dollars per card, doubling is normal, ten million chips, no problem, right?"
"No problem." All three of them said they had no problem.
The hotel staff then dealt the cards, and Link, as usual, lost at first but won later. However, this time he didn't lose much at first and then won big.
This game is actually similar to Texas Hold'em, with each player receiving thirteen cards, and the jokers discarded from the deck.
Then the cards are played, and whoever runs out of cards first wins. The ranking of the cards is calculated according to the rules of Texas Hold'em.
The number of cards the other players have left determines how many tens of thousands of dollars they lose.
Link was drinking bourbon and smoking a cigar, winning with ease.
Tony Stark asked curiously, "You can use psychology here?"
"Of course, but that's a secret." Link smiled mysteriously. "If I tell you now, how am I supposed to win?"
"That's true!" Tony Stark nodded slightly.
As Link played his cards, he said, "I just had an accounting firm buy Stark Industries stock yesterday. Will it appreciate in value soon?"
"Ha~ That's a wise decision," Stark laughed. "Anyway, it won't cost you any money."
"I think so too. After all, tax season is approaching, and I need to prepare in advance," Link said. "This time it's a bit rushed, since I'm a newly rich guy."
"I think you can handle this situation very well." Stark had a good impression of Link.
This game is actually quite lucrative, as it includes a doubling rule. Link won over ten million in just two hours, which is almost half of the three players' chips.

The event ended before midnight, and Link became the biggest winner again. He accepted three checks and gave the waiter a tip of five hundred dollars.
