Chapter 312 - 311: Chad Collosus

The crowd fell silent for a moment before bursting into loud cheers. Everyone looked in awe at the floating Mega Alakazam who had gained a more wizard-like and regal appearance.It had grown a longer, flowing white beard and a tuft of white hair on its head. It now wielded five spoons in the air with its mind instead of the usual two.

The Mega Alakazam looked majestic and much stronger than before.

"Wowwww folks, we are seeing a mega evolution," the announcer said with great excitement. "And this one is not from the vortex family. We had seen Gym Leader Gladion mega evolve his Tyranitar. We had seen his mom evolve her Charizard. And now Sabrina has mega evolved her Alakazam."

He paused for a second and then chuckled loudly. "Though with Sabrina's declaration of love it might have come from the soon to be same family as well. Hahaha." The announcer laughed at his own joke, making many people in the crowd laugh along with him.

"Anyways folks, I think the fight might be more equal now that Alakazam has mega evolved," the announcer continued.

"Can Gladion and his Tyranitar take it down? This is going to be one for the books."

Gladion stood calmly on his side of the field. He mumbled to himself with determination, "We will take it down, yes."

"Stone Edge," Gladion said.

Colossus stomped on the ground with great force. Jagged rocks erupted upward like sharp trees growing instantly from the earth. The stones shot toward Mega Alakazam with dangerous speed.

"Psycho Cut," Sabrina said quickly.

A huge blade of psychic energy formed in front of Mega Alakazam and sliced forward. The blade cut apart many of the Stone Edge rocks in its path. It continued straight toward Tyranitar.

Colossus had to use both of his massive hands to stop the attack this timr. He caught the blade between his palms and pushed back against it. The psychic energy pressed hard against him.

When the attack finally faded, he looked down at his hands which were now bleeding from small cuts. Colossus licked the blood from his hand and grinned with excitement. "Finally. You can make me bleed now."

Sabrina saw that the mega evolution had increased Alakazam's power and could now penetrate Collusus defense. She gave the next order with confidence. "Psycho Cut and Teleport."

Mega Alakazam gathered energy for another large blade of psychic energy. It then teleported suddenly and appeared right in front of Colossus, only five meters away. The psychic Pokemon released the Psycho Cut at close range with full force.

"Crunch," Gladion commanded.

Colossus's teeth flowed with dark type energy as he opened his mouth wide. To everyone's shock, he bit down directly on the Psycho Cut blade.

The dark type energy broke down the psychic energy and crushed it between his jaws. As the final bits of psychic energy disappeared, Colossus grimaced slightly and mumbled, [I seemed to have bitten my own tongue. That hurts.]

Sabrina did not give up. "Psychic," she ordered.

Mega Alakazam used all of its power to lift the massive Colossus into the air. The Tyranitar looked amused as his heavy body rose higher and higher.

With a strong motion, Alakazam slammed him down into the ground. The impact created a deep crater where Colossus landed. A lot of dust and small rocks flew into the air from the crash.The ground cracked around the crater and the shockwave could be felt even in the stands. People held onto their seats as the stadium vibrated for a few seconds.

As the smoke and dust cleared, Colossus slowly got up and returned to his feet. He shook his body once and said in a relaxed voice, "Thank you for that. My back was itching some." Dark type energy then started glowing around his body. This energy made the psychic moves less effective on him.

Gladion gave his next command. "Dark Pulse."

A wave of dark energy inthe form of a ball shot forward from Colossus toward Mega Alakazam.

Sabrina reacted fast. "Light Screen." A protective barrier appeared in front of Alakazam.

The Dark Pulse collided with the Light Screen, causing a big explosion. When the smoke cleared, the barrier was still holding but had various cracks across its surface.

Sabrina spoke, "Let us show them true psychic power, Alakazam." Mega Alakazam's eyes glowed brightly as it used its Psychic power to the fullest.

It flung its hands together with huge force. All the rocks on the field, whether whole, broken, or small fragments, lifted into the air at once. They flew toward Colossus with tremendous speed like they were being pulled by a strong magnet.

The rocks slammed into him with massive force from every direction. Half the arena became covered by a huge rock ball that encircled Colossus completely and submerged him inside it. The ball of stones looked like a small mountain had formed around the Tyranitar.

Gladion gave Sabrina a look that clearly said he thought she was being foolish. He spoke out loud with a calm smile. "You do know that Colossus's favourite meal is rocks?"

As soon as he said that, Colossus made a way for himself out of the rock ball. He broke through the stones with ease and had several rocks in his mouth. He chewed on them loudly as he stepped out. [It had too much dust for my taste but I was hungry so I do not mind,]Colossus mumbled while still eating.

He looked at Mega Alakazam with a confident expression. [You are strong but sadly you are not yet at my level. Not yet.]

Colossus then turned toward Gladion. [Let us show them what true power is and what they should aim for.]

"Gladly," Gladion said.
