An Rui frowned. From her perspective, Fang Yuan's words sounded like the words of a complete lunatic... or a saint.She couldn't tell which he was.

The entire Five Regions and Two Heavens would then turn into Fang Yuan's personal slaughterhouse and carnage would reign on a scale not seen since the time of Spectral Soul Demonic Venerable...
"But let us put that matter aside for now," Fang Yuan said. "What is important is that you are safe, Sister An Rui."
"Ah... well, Brother Fang Yuan, thank you for helping me," she answered, still a bit baffled at his mannerism. Then again, if he was calling her 'sister' there was no harm in calling him 'brother', she figured. Such was what etiquette dictated! "What exactly are you doing now?"
"I'm trying to see what there is in this blessed land," Fang Yuan answered. "It has almost finished forming, and I intend to enter it."
"Oh? Do you have a way to do so?" she asked, curious. Blessed lands were notoriously hard to attack and easy to defend. She knew she would have no way of forcing her way inside. But it looked like Fang Yuan did. "Do be careful though... who knows what kinds of traps are laid inside?"
Fang Yuan activated several Space Path gu worms and a rift opened up in the air. There, on the ocean floor, it looked like there was a window into a different kind of ocean entirely.
'Is that a Space Path killer move? Is that how he managed to appear here all of a sudden?' An Rui thought to herself. It would make perfect sense if Fang Yuan were a Space Path cultivator. In reality, this was a killer move Fang Yuan had inherited from Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable's inheritance.
Choosing to take a look inside, Fang Yuan stepped through the rift into Dai Ruo's aperture. The immortal aperture was a Water Path aperture. Given this, nearly 90% of the land area was covered in water. A good portion of it was seawater, but there were several islands containing pockets of freshwater as well. A gentle breeze flew around the aperture. Fang Yuan could see at a glance that it was rather lacking in resources; it looked like this Dai Ruo was not that good when it came to aperture management. Likely either that, or he simply didn't have the resources to do so.
There was also a small pool of blood, likely an attempt by Dai Ruo to create a miniature Blood Sea to cultivate Blood Path resources to either sell or use for himself. To Fang Yuan, a dedicated former Blood Path cultivator, it seemed like a tiny pittance.
With that said, Fang Yuan could definitely see the potential in converting this Water Path blessed land into a Blood Path blessed land completely over time. Blood Path resources were going for a large amount on Yellow Treasure Heaven, after all.
Why should Fang Yuan be one of the few people who wasn't profiting from these insanely high prices when he was the cause for the increase in price in the first place?
On the small islands were tiny houses - likely Dai Ruo's pleasure slaves that he kept. Oh well, Dai Ruo was no longer around to torment them.
Soon enough, the land spirit detected Fang Yuan's presence and swam through the air toward him. The land spirit took the form of a giant dolphin, moving through the sky as if it were water.
"Hey! You! Get lost!" the land spirit snapped.
"I intend to become the master of this blessed land," Fang Yuan said calmly. He could use a base in the Eastern Sea. "What are the criteria to become your master?"
The dolphin land spirit snorted. "Well, in that case... I want a set of undergarments from each of the Six Great Beauties of the Eastern Sea!"
Fang Yuan: "..."
"If you don't have them, then get lost!" the dolphin said, doing a pirouette through the air before diving back down.
'What kind of degenerate condition is this?' Fang Yuan thought to himself. 'This demonic cultivator was indeed a complete degenerate first, and a demon second.'
Fang Yuan had thought that the land spirit's obsession might've been to kill Fang Yuan himself given how Dai Ruo had died. That was easy enough to arrange for - or to trick the land spirit into believing. Fang Yuan simply had to disguise himself and then use Blood Path methods to generate his own head, offer it to the land spirit, and then be on his way.
Even if Dai Ruo had wanted An Rui's head instead, that too was easy enough to obtain.
Fang Yuan wouldn't even need to kill the lady in question. He didn't even need to ask for a drop of her blood.
Now that she had called him 'brother', he could use Bond Equal to Blood Ties to make that connection real.
And now that they were considered closely related, siblings actually, he could use Blood Path methods to convert his own blood into An Rui's. There would be a large loss in the amount of blood in doing so - about half a liter of Fang Yuan's blood to create little under a hundred milliliters of An Rui's, but once he had that he could then generate her head as well.
But the condition that this land spirit asked for was not just bizarre - it was borderline impossible!
The Six Great Beauties of the Eastern Sea included people like Seven Seas Snake Woman and Song Yi Shi. Some of them were even Rank 7 - to try and steal their clothes was courting death!
Then again, this was to be expected in some way. One's obsession was not necessarily something realistic or grounded.
As Fang Yuan pondered the problem, he wondered how it was that the land spirit would even verify such a claim? Could he grab the undergarments of six other random women? There must also be a way to trick the land spirit in this regard. Could he use Blood Path methods to mimic those woman's scents? It was possible, but he was not yet even 'family' with all of them.
As for attacking this blessed land and taking over it by force... he could do so but it would eat up too much Immortal Essence for the time. He had other things he needed to spend resources on. Not to mention there were no guarantee of gains. The land spirit could simply self-detonate leaving him empty handed despite all such efforts. For now, he would simply mark it down in his mind and consider returning later.
With that, Fang Yuan exited the blessed land and saw An Rui glancing at him anxiously.
An Rui didn't dare take a step into the blessed land in question and had been waiting outside. "What... what happened?"
"He wants something that I can't get," Fang Yuan said, shaking his head.
In the distance, a figure was approaching the two of them. "Brother!" An Rui called out, to her actual brother.
Her brother's name was An Zhou, a Rank 6 Gu Immortal who had rushed over here as fast as he could. He calmed down somewhat on noticing that there was no fighting going around, but saw Fang Yuan with some confusion. This was not Dai Ruo... and the two were not fighting.
Fang Yuan cupped his hands to greet the man. "Well met, my name is Gu Yue Fang Yuan."
"Brother, this man intervened in my fight with Dai Ruo," An Rui said.
"Where is the fiend now?" An Zhou asked, angrily.
"He is dead," An Rui said. "Fang Yuan killed him."
An Zhou was shocked. Righteous paths forces had been tailing Dai Ruo for ages, yet he always managed to slip away. First when he was mortal, then later when he was Immortal. For some complete stranger not even from the Eastern Sea to have killed him?
