She came into the mountains early in the morning and then spent the whole day with us; what do you think she’s up to?"

Yixuan pondered and said, "I think... this might be the Third Elder’s way of testing me."

"Testing?"

Liang Yuening looked puzzled.

Dong Huiying glanced at Liang Yuening, thinking, this silly boy really looks naive, almost adorably foolish at first glance.

After musing, Yixuan promptly said, "Let’s go. When I left this morning, I didn’t say goodbye to Second Brother. It’s indeed getting late; the sun’s almost setting. If we don’t go back soon, I’m afraid Second Brother will worry."

Dong Huiying murmured, "Speaking of which... Shu Yu has been acting mysterious lately. What exactly is he up to? I’ve asked, but he keeps changing the subject."
