Wandering America: My kill threshold is far ahead

Chapter 21 Camp Feasts and Socializing

Chapter 21 Camp Feasts and Socializing

"Please." Max fanned his hair with his hand. "These clothes are from the shelter that Jimmy picked up. That kid often goes there to take advantage of these things. I specially picked out your size based on your height and weight."

Damn... you should have said so earlier, sis! Realizing there was a misunderstanding, Ma Jie quickly went back to his bedroom to change his clothes.

Looking in the mirror, I saw a dark green V-neck shirt with a palm tree pattern, a pair of vintage distressed jeans, and a pair of unbranded white sneakers.

Great, all that's missing is a motorcycle and a submachine gun. This isn't Tommy from Vice City, so say what you will.

With a tap of the accelerator, everything is under control – one star, two stars, three stars, four stars, five stars, six stars.

Los Santos... wait, let's scrap it and start over.

Liberty City, your emperor is back!

"Isn't this pretty cool?" Max stood outside the door, a cigarette dangling from his lips, and tossed him a small box containing a phone card. "But I still prefer you without clothes on."

"Let's set a time, and I'll let you see as much as you want." Ma Jie tied his shoelaces, took the cigarette from her mouth, nudged the partition behind her with his elbow, took a puff and blew it into his face, his eyes filled with predatory intent: "Baby, toys can fill the emptiness in your body, but they can never satisfy..."

Just as someone was thinking he looked cool, Max suddenly grabbed him by the waist with brute force, and the two bodies pressed tightly together.

After switching sides, she teased his chin with her finger: "Listen, Jack, I'm not the kind of promiscuous slut who likes to have sex. If you want to be a bus driver, there are plenty of sluts in the camp who can satisfy you with just a cocktail, provided you're not afraid of getting HIV. If I'm really interested in you, then I should be the one taking the initiative to sleep with you, understand?"

"Alright, Your Majesty, it's your territory, you call the shots. A good man doesn't fight with a woman."

Ma Jieke gave a sheepish smile, choosing to strategically back down, but his words remained defiant.

He had reason to suspect that this girl definitely had sadistic tendencies, and that she might not mentally identify as a woman.

Don't forget this is in Europe and America, where you can't even assume the gender of a shopping bag in a supermarket.

"That's a good boy." She took the cigarette from his mouth and licked her fiery red lips with her tongue. "Now go to the party with Mommy. If you dare to say that you made those two dishes, I guarantee you won't live to see tomorrow morning."

After saying that, she made a throat-slitting gesture, swaying her slender waist and long, fair legs, leaving him with a cool and refreshing back view.

For older Yankees, having parties is the most common way to socialize. Whether at home or out, people who know each other or not can get together and have fun.

When we arrived at the location, the place had already been set up. There were picnic mats covered with food on the ground, and several cases of beer nearby.

Several homeless people of different skin colors, genders and ages were gathered together, chatting freely about their recent experiences.

Max walked over carrying a tray covered with a metal steak cover, his voice sounding incredibly smug: "Hey everyone, future doctors, lawyers, academics, movie stars, stockbrokers, and all you guys whose professions I don't know but are definitely awesome, anyone want to try my new dish?"

Before she could finish speaking, the two people closest to her quickly moved away, afraid of being used as guinea pigs.

Max confidently placed the tray on the picnic mat and put his arm around MaJack's neck: "But before that, let's give a round of applause to our new friend. Perhaps some of you have already heard of his heroic deeds. That's right, he beat up those two bastards, the Sean brothers, and gave our Blue Hair Squad a good beating."

After she finished speaking, everyone, whether they knew the story or not, looked at Ma Jieke with friendly and admiring eyes. Jimmy even whistled.

After exchanging greetings with the camp members, Ethan, who had a past conflict with him, offered him a 330ml bottle of Heineken: "Bro, although we had a little disagreement before, I hope you won't take it to heart."

"Ha, was there anything unpleasant? I don't remember." Ma Jie opened the bottle cap, clinked glasses with the other person with high emotional intelligence, and smiled, "According to our Chinese custom, the first bottle of wine should be finished, but this is the West Coast, I'll finish mine, you can drink as you like."

Glug glug, the clear and refreshing beer goes down your throat and into your body, and then you're blown by the cool California breeze, it couldn't be more pleasant.

"OK, I accept the challenge." Ethan didn't seem to understand much, and the two started blowing at each other.

After finishing his drink, he opened another bottle and gestured for Ma Jieke to continue. They inexplicably started taking drinks from each other, and no one knew where their competitive spirit came from.

"Hey hey hey, boys, save your drinks." Max, the camp leader, quickly stopped the two boys' stupid behavior.

Then, in a very ceremonial manner, the steak cover was lifted, revealing the scrambled eggs with tomatoes and fried sausages inside.

"Oh shit, Max, get your masterpiece out of here, nobody can appreciate it."

Upon seeing the yellow and red object, Jimmy instinctively covered his nose, even though he couldn't smell anything; it was purely a conditioned reflex.

"Are you talking about me, baby? Then I'm happy to inform you that you've been appointed as my personal food taster, a position you can never resign from."

After saying that, he scooped a large spoonful from the plate and, before the man could get up and retreat, slammed him to the ground, killing him instantly.

"Open your mouth, ah, let Mommy see your nimble little tongue."

Jimmy pursed his lips and turned his face to the side, while Max pinched his nose violently and, when he couldn't breathe, shoved it into his mouth like medicine.

The onlookers screamed in terror; for the victims, this scene was no different from watching a horror movie.

Instead of spitting out the food as they expected, Jimmy stood there for a few seconds, then subconsciously began to chew, with a very obvious swallowing motion in his throat.

"What? Did you make this, Max?" After asking this probing question, he picked up a piece of egg with a fork, sniffed it, and then stuffed it into his mouth.

Seeing this, the others also curiously tried it out.

This caused quite a stir. Everyone abandoned table manners and shoveled food into their own plates. In less than half a minute, the plate of scrambled eggs with tomatoes was completely devoured.

Next up was fried sausage. Everyone who tasted it thought it was delicious. It had a completely different texture from the kind fried in a frying pan.

Watching these people scramble for food, Max almost laughed herself crazy. I don't know how she convinced herself to take all the credit.

Ah Q is in Los Angeles, right?

Just as the atmosphere was getting lively, someone rode back from outside on a bicycle; the outline looked like a girl.

"Oh, look who's here." Max laughed wildly as she rode up to her. "Isn't this our Miss Fiona, who's got both beauty and talent, vowed to earn a hundred million dollars, and aspires to run for mayor of Chicago? How far along is your dream?"
