Chapter 182 Leaving Immediately
Chapter 182 Leaving Immediately
As they approached the small courtyard, Fat Tiger finally caught up with Ma Junjie.
Fat Tiger stood in front of Ma Junjie, shouting in a panic,
"Brother Jie, please...please don't go in!"
"Brother Jie, I...I don't need the clothes anymore, I'll...I'll buy you a new one!"
"Thinking about it now, it's terrifying. My back still gets chills. Please, please don't..."
Ma Junjie smiled as he looked at Pang Hu.
"Fat Tiger, I told you if you don't want to go, don't go in, it's okay."
"I'm brave. I used to sleep in cemeteries a lot when I was little. I wasn't afraid!"
With that, Ma Junjie took a step forward, passing Pang Hu.
Gian was so anxious he kept stamping his feet.
He said,
"What...what should we do?!"
"There's a ghost inside!"
With a creak, Ma Junjie pushed open the wooden fence of the yard.
Fat Tiger's heart also clenched.
Looking up, I saw that Ma Junjie had already entered the courtyard and was heading towards the room.
Looking at Ma Junjie's back,
Suddenly, Gian cried out "Ouch!" and muttered to himself.
"Holy crap, I can't just leave Brother Jie in there alone!"
"Damn it, flush it!"
"Brother Jie, wait for me, wait for me..."
Gian mustered his courage and chased after them into the yard.
A short while later, Ma Junjie spotted Pang Hu following behind.
He turned to look at Fat Tiger, whose face was filled with fear and unease, yet who was trying to appear calm.
He smiled contentedly and said,
"Sure, Gian, you're a great bro!"
"Come on, follow me, there's nothing to be afraid of!"
Ma Junjie walked to the windowsill, preparing to fumble for his keys to open the door.
I looked around, but couldn't find the key.
Ma Junjie turned around and asked,
"Gian, where's the key?"
Fat Tiger was startled and quickly went to the windowsill.
He looked at it and touched it, puzzled.
He said, puzzled.
"Brother Jie, I clearly remember putting it on the windowsill, how come it's gone?"
"It's a ghost! It's a real ghost!"
Fat Tiger frowned, feeling both puzzled and depressed.
A few seconds later, Ma Junjie suddenly said,
"Gian, stop looking, the door's unlocked!"
"You! I told you to stop doing manual labor! You're so forgetful at such a young age! You even forgot to lock the door!"
Gian's mouth dropped open in disbelief.
"Brother Jie, that's impossible! I made sure it was locked, it couldn't be missing..."
Before he could finish speaking, with a creak, Ma Junjie pushed open the door and went inside.
Fat Tiger was speechless and couldn't say a word.
"Sigh!" Fat Tiger sighed, then patted his head.
I thought,
Could it be that I've really become forgetful?
Just then a gust of wind blew by, and he suddenly felt a chill on his back.
Fat Tiger shuddered and quickly went into the room.
Upon entering, Fat Tiger discovered that Ma Junjie was already in the bedroom.
Fat Tiger was alone in the living room, his heart pounding.
I didn't know anyone had died here before; everything was fine.
Now I know.
Fat Tiger felt that everything in this house was strange.
Suddenly, he thought he heard a sound coming from the bathroom at the far end of the living room.
Fat Tiger immediately felt a chill run down his spine, and his body began to tremble uncontrollably.
He didn't dare to investigate further.
He quickly ran into the bedroom to find Ma Junjie.
"Brother Jie, Brother Jie, that's scary!"
"Brother Jie, there's...there's a strange sound..."
Ma Junjie was bending over tidying up his things on the bed when he heard Pang Hu babbling and laughing.
"Gian, you've wasted your huge physique!"
"What's there to be afraid of in broad daylight?"
"Even if there really is a ghost, it's a female ghost. Maybe, when she sees you, she'll be the one scared!"
Fat Tiger looked embarrassed and whispered,
"Brother Jie, please...please stop teasing me."
"Grab your things, let's... let's go quickly!"
Ma Junjie chuckled.
I found my phone charger by the bedside.
He then rummaged through the thin blanket on the bed.
He had a shirt and a pair of pants, but he couldn't find them anywhere.
"That's strange?" Ma Junjie complained softly, puzzled.
Seeing Ma Junjie's words, Fat Tiger, who was already nervous, became even more nervous.
He stammered,
"Jay...Jay, what's strange, Jay? You...you're scaring me!"
Ma Junjie answered frankly,
"Gian, I clearly left my clothes and pants on the bed, but I can't find them now."
"Can't find it?" Fat Tiger asked, puzzled.
"Brother Jie, could it have fallen under the bed? Let's check."
Upon hearing this, Ma Junjie was reminded...
He bent down, preparing to look under the bed.
Fat Tiger didn't think much of it and bent down to look under the bed.
Upon closer inspection, the two noticed that it was dark and blurry under the bed, making it difficult to see clearly.
Ma Junjie thought for a moment, stood up, and prepared to take out his phone from his pocket and turn on the flashlight.
Fat Tiger just wanted to find his clothes quickly and get out of there as soon as possible.
He didn't get up, but instead, using the dim light, carefully looked under the bed.
As he looked around, he suddenly noticed something vaguely discernible in the corner of the bed near the wall.
Fat Tiger was secretly delighted, thinking he had finally found it.
Without thinking twice, he simply reached his hand in.
My arms are too short to reach it.
Desperate to escape, Gian simply squeezed most of his body inside.
Ma Junjie was holding his phone and preparing to turn on the flashlight.
Now, seeing the situation, knowing that there had been some gains, he asked,
"Gian, you found it?"
Fat Tiger frowned, a mixture of smugness and frustration in his expression, and said...
"Yes, I touched it right away."
"Brother Jie, we've agreed that once we get your clothes, we'll leave immediately."
"This place, I just can't stand it!"
Ma Junjie chuckled.
"Okay, no problem!"
"Get the clothes, leave right away, leave right away!"
Gian was naturally very excited upon hearing this, and simply buried his head under the bed as well.
Ma Junjie said,
"Gian, shall I shine the flashlight around?"
"No need, I've got it, I've got it!" Fat Tiger's voice came from under the bed.
Upon hearing this, Ma Junjie also seemed very pleased.
He patted Fat Tiger and asked,
"Gian, it feels like clothes to you, doesn't it?"
Fat Tiger's head slowly popped out, and he laughed.
"Brother Jie, that's right, it's the clothes!"
"I wouldn't dare take anything else."
"Hehe!" Ma Junjie laughed.
"Okay, hurry up and take it out!"
Fat Tiger managed to crawl out with some difficulty.
Then slowly stand up.
Without even looking at what he was holding, he threw it onto the bed.
Then, he started brushing the dust off his clothes.
He said,
"Brother Jie, come quick, check if these are your clothes?"
"If so, grab your clothes and hurry up!"
Fat Tiger continued talking to himself, and after a while, he suddenly noticed something strange.
Because the only sound in the room was his own voice; otherwise, it was completely silent, and no one answered.
Fat Tiger was secretly puzzled.
"Huh, what's going on?"
He stopped brushing off the dust, slowly stood up straight, and said...
"Brother Jie, why aren't you saying anything?"
"I'm asking you, are these your clothes?"
Fat Tiger said, then looked at Ma Junjie.
But they saw Ma Junjie standing there, stunned and motionless.
His eyes, however, were fixed on the things on the bed.
Gian was even more confused.
"Brother Jie, why...why did you suddenly freeze up?"
"I'm asking you, are those your clothes?"
"If so, then we..."
Suddenly, Ma Junjie interrupted Pang Hu.
"Gian, stop talking, you...you take a look for yourself first..."
"Look what that is!"
