Working in Dongguan: The Girls I Met Over the Years

Chapter 194 Are you convinced yet?

Chapter 194 Are you convinced yet?

Liu Yang adopted a standard Sanda stance, with his left foot lightly touching the ground in front, his right fist guarding his cheek, and his left fist slightly protruding forward. His muscles were taut, and his eyes were full of ferocity.

He took a deep breath, then suddenly leaped forward, his right fist whistling as it aimed straight for Ma Junjie's face.

The punches were powerful and fierce, clearly the result of years of training.

"Well done!" Ma Junjie's eyes narrowed, and instead of retreating, he advanced.

He sidestepped the powerful punch, and at the same time, his left hand shot out with lightning speed, precisely grabbing Liu Yang's wrist.

Liu Yang felt a numbness in his wrist, followed by a tremendous force that rendered his entire arm immobile.

He was both shocked and furious, and his left fist slammed into Ma Junjie's ribs, trying to force him to let go.

Ma Junjie's footwork shifted effortlessly, as if he were strolling in a garden, easily dodging Liu Yang's attacks.

He slapped Liu Yang's shoulder with his right hand, as fast as lightning.

With a muffled thud, Liu Yang felt as if a boulder had hit his shoulder, causing him to stagger and nearly fall.

He struggled to pull his wrist back, but Ma Junjie's fingers were like iron clamps, and no matter how hard he tried, they wouldn't budge.

"Let me go!" Liu Yang was both ashamed and angry, and roared as he kicked Ma Junjie in the stomach.

Ma Junjie snorted coldly and suddenly exerted force on his wrist, pulling Liu Yang off balance and causing his kick to miss its mark.

Immediately afterward, Ma Junjie swept his foot, causing Liu Yang to lose his balance and fall heavily onto the ring, kicking up dust.

The expressions of the people in the audience changed drastically.

Carina Lau exclaimed in surprise and instinctively took two steps forward, but was stopped by Liu Xiong.

Jiang Hao frowned and muttered, "Ah Jie's skills are even better than when I last saw him."

Liu Xiong still had a faint smile on his face, but his eyes held a hint of seriousness.

Liu Yang scrambled to his feet, half his face covered in dust from the fall, making his already swollen cheeks look particularly comical.

He was utterly enraged, his eyes bloodshot, and he charged at Ma Junjie like a mad dog: "I'm going to kill you!"

This time he held back, unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks, each move ruthless and vicious, employing underhanded tactics to target Ma Junjie's vitals.

But in Ma Junjie's eyes, his attack was full of flaws.

Ma Junjie dodged with composure, sometimes blocking, sometimes counterattacking, each move precise and ruthless, without wasting a single ounce of strength.

After several rounds, Liu Yang couldn't even touch the hem of Ma Junjie's clothes. Instead, he was forced to retreat by Ma Junjie's counterattacks, and he had already taken several blows, making him grimace in pain.

His pride was completely crushed, leaving only boundless fear and anger. He couldn't understand how this seemingly weak country bumpkin could be so skilled.

"What? Out of energy?" Ma Junjie stopped and looked down at the panting Liu Yang, his tone icy.

Liu Yang gasped for breath, his chest heaving, and glared venomously at Ma Junjie: "You cheated! You definitely used some underhanded tricks!"

"Stubborn to the end." Ma Junjie's eyes turned cold, and he suddenly accelerated, rushing to Liu Yang in an instant.

Before Liu Yang could react, Ma Junjie grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.

He struggled desperately, his feet leaving the ground, but he couldn't break free no matter what he did.

"Weren't you very arrogant?" Ma Junjie's eyes were sharp as knives.

"Didn't you say you could throw me off the stage with one hand? Didn't you say you'd skin me alive and tear my tendons out?"

Before he could finish speaking, a crisp, loud slap echoed throughout the room!

Ma Junjie slapped Liu Yang's already swollen left cheek with a powerful slap.

Liu Yang felt his head buzzing, his left cheek swelled up even more instantly, blood spilled from the corner of his mouth, and several of his teeth loosened.

The audience fell into a deathly silence; everyone was stunned.

Carina Lau covered her mouth, her eyes filled with disbelief;

Jiang Hao's eyes widened, and he opened his mouth but couldn't utter a word;

Liu Xiong's smile froze, and his fingers unconsciously clenched.

"You dare hit me?" Liu Yang roared after being knocked unconscious.

"So what if I hit you?" Ma Junjie's eyes were icy.

"You constantly call me a country bumpkin, you've made things difficult for me in every way, and you even instigated someone to kill me. This slap is you paying for your foul mouth!"

"Slap!" Another loud slap landed on Liu Yang's right cheek.

Liu Yang's right cheek quickly swelled up, symmetrical to his left cheek, making his face look like a pig's head.

He was beaten so badly that his vision went black, and even more blood flowed from his mouth, dripping down the corner of his mouth and onto the ring.

"This slap is on behalf of your father, to teach you what respect is!" Ma Junjie's voice was as cold as ice.

"Your father has high hopes for you, but you've become arrogant and disdainful of others, not even understanding basic principles of being a decent human being!"

"Slap! Slap! Slap!"

With three sharp cracks, Ma Junjie slapped Liu Yang across the face with both hands, one after another.

Each sound was crisp and clear, echoing throughout the venue, sending chills down the spines of the audience.

Liu Yang was beaten so badly he couldn't fight back; he could only make whimpering sounds as tears and snot mixed with blood streamed down his face.

His former arrogance vanished, replaced by fear and despair.

He wanted to beg for mercy, but his mouth was numb from being hit and he couldn't utter a complete sentence.

Ma Junjie struck with great restraint, only hitting his face and not injuring his vital organs, yet it was enough to make him feel extreme pain and humiliation.

He wanted to teach this arrogant brat a lesson, to let him know that there are always people more capable than him, and that he shouldn't act recklessly just because of his family background.

"Enough! Ah Jie, stop fighting!" Carina Lau couldn't hold back any longer and rushed forward, trying to climb onto the ring.

Jiang Hao also realized what was happening and quickly grabbed Liu Jialing, shouting towards Ma Junjie on the stage.

"Ah Jie, go easy on him! If you keep fighting, someone will die!"

Liu Xiong's face was so gloomy it could drip water. He stared intently at Ma Junjie on the stage, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white.

He never expected that Ma Junjie, who seemed so kind and honest, could be so ruthless when he actually did something.

But he also knew in his heart that Liu Yang had brought this upon himself. If he hadn't repeatedly provoked him, he wouldn't have ended up like this.

Ma Junjie seemed oblivious to the shouts from the audience and continued slapping Liu Yang across the face.

"Slap! Slap! Slap!" The crisp sound of slaps rang out continuously. Liu Yang's face was swollen beyond recognition, and his eyes were almost squeezed into slits. He no longer had the arrogance he had before.

"Do you submit?" Ma Junjie stopped what he was doing, grabbed Liu Yang by the collar, lifted him up, and stared at him sharply.

Liu Yang trembled all over, looking into Ma Junjie's cold eyes as if he were seeing a devil.

He nodded frantically, making muffled sounds as tears blurred his vision; all traces of his previous arrogance had vanished.

"Say it out loud! Do you submit or not?" Ma Junjie shouted sternly, increasing the pressure on his hand.

"I...I give up...I give up..." Liu Yang finally managed to squeeze out a few incoherent words, his voice trembling with sobs, filled with fear and humiliation.

"Do you know you were wrong?" Ma Junjie asked again.

"I was wrong... I shouldn't have scolded you... I shouldn't have made things difficult for you... Please forgive me..."

Liu Yang wept bitterly, all traces of arrogance gone.

Ma Junjie stared at him for a few seconds to make sure he was truly convinced before letting go.

Liu Yang crashed onto the ring like a kite with a broken string, unable to get up. He could only curl up on the ground, sobbing and utterly humiliated.

Ma Junjie smiled faintly, turned his head without looking back, stepped over the ring railing, and jumped off.

He walked straight toward Liu Xiong without any expression on his face...
