Chapter 107 The Collector

Chapter 107 The Collector

When the fighter jet stabilized again, a huge planet appeared in front of him, very close at hand. He pushed the control stick, and the fighter jet flew towards the planet.

Link didn't know exactly why Morag was so desolate, nor did he know why the Sphere of the Universe was left there, but these were not problems.

He began searching for the buildings from his memory. The Swallow fighter jet was fast enough that he didn't need to search slowly, because his dynamic vision was enough for him to see all the buildings clearly.

Fortunately, there weren't many buildings left, so he easily found locations similar to those in the movie. Regardless of whether things would change, this was the only way he could search.

Some things may change, some things may not; it all depends on luck.

He was lucky; he landed in a plaza, then donned his combat suit and boarded his fighter jet.

Using his X-ray vision, he could easily locate the cosmic orb. Exploring the universe alone was too easy for him; that's the confidence of a powerful person.

Link went straight to the location of the Sphere of the Universe, and without the key, smashed the door with a single punch.

The energy field surrounding the cosmic orb provided protection. Link tried out his vibranium suit, but the energy field couldn't harm vibranium. If it had, he wouldn't have had to fight shirtless.

"That's really simple!" Link tossed the cosmic orb in his hand, turned and left. This place had been abandoned for a long time, with no signs of any intelligent life.

This cosmic orb may have been placed there later; who can say for sure?

Now prepare to depart for the Void, the stronghold of the Collector, whose empire is incredibly wealthy.

……

The fighter jet entered space jump again, and when it reappeared, it had arrived near the void, at a very close distance.

Although Asgards do not use spatial nodes, their records are very comprehensive, befitting their longevity as a race.

Link is also recording things like the flight time from Earth to various space nodes, the energy used for space jumps, and so on.

These are all very necessary. He explored not only the roads, but also various data, information, and other details.

The universe is vast, and although they are only in the Milky Way, they are still fraught with danger. Just because Link is not afraid does not mean that others are not afraid.

The Void is a chaotic place, equally dangerous, a gathering place for criminals from all over the universe.

Link landed at the airport. There was no registration or defense at all, thankfully there was no need to pay any fees or trouble. Link got off wearing his battle suit.

He held two energy guns on the outside of his left and right thighs, ready to fight at any moment.

He looked up and then walked towards the central area. He was now seeing all sorts of aliens, some of which looked very similar to humans, but with different skin colors.

There were also some oddly shaped ones that looked like monsters, but it didn't seem strange that he was wearing combat gear; most people here were dressed in combat uniforms.

Link arrived at the central area and grabbed someone at random. "Where is the Collector?"

The other party was clearly unhappy, but the power Link was conveying made him back down, and then he pointed.

It was a tall building with a huge circular room at the top, surrounded by transparent materials.

Link let go and then walked over.

Link couldn't get through the entrance, but there was something that looked like a communicator. He reached out and pressed it, "Who is looking for the Great Collector?"

A woman's voice rang out, and Link said directly, "I have something to sell him: the Cosmic Orb!"

Link didn't mention the Power Stone; he first mentioned the Cosmic Orb.

"Please wait a moment!" This woman is probably the collector's slave.

Link didn't have to wait long before the door suddenly opened, and a red-skinned woman appeared. "Please come with me!"

Link stepped inside, took the elevator all the way to the top floor, where the collector was located.

"Welcome. I didn't expect someone to come before me with a Cosmic Orb." The Collector looked at Link and said, "Mind taking off your helmet?"

Link reached out and touched the helmet, which seemed to melt and slowly receded.

"You are..." The collector couldn't tell which planet Link came from.

Link said, "Earth, I come from Earth."

After saying that, he took out the Cosmic Orb from the tactical pouch at his waist.

Then he asked, "How much are you offering?"

"Hmm~" the collector thought for a moment and said, "One billion units!"

Link shook his head and said, "Don't think I don't know what's inside. This is the Power Stone."

The collector nodded slightly, realizing the price was unlikely to decrease, and said, "How about four billion?"

"Let me ask you something first. Can your company build motherships?" Link asked. "You should be able to see the fighter jets I brought. What's the largest mothership that can be built to carry these kinds of aircraft, and how many can it carry?"

"Good idea!" The collector became interested. "Earth hasn't entered interstellar civilization yet, so how could we know how you got out?"

"Every planet has its geniuses. Our geniuses have come together and received help from Asgard. I believe you know that the Chitauri attacked Earth before, but we defeated them." Link didn't hide anything.

He needs to build a mothership, but relying on Earth's power, or his and Stark's power, is not enough, and it will take a very long time.

However, it is much easier to find advanced civilizations in the universe.

It's strange that the collector answered every question asked; didn't he have any sense of caution at all?

However, this was none of his business, so he said, "Let me take a look."

Arriving at a control panel, the screen quickly appeared, revealing Link's fighter jet. The positioning was extremely precise; despite the lack of human management, he was in complete control of everything here.

"Oh~ It's somewhat like a raiding fighter jet, but smaller and designed for agility. You came here in one?" the collector said. "You have precise spatial nodes and a space jump engine."

"If you're building a mothership, do you need weapons?"

"Of course, we've designed several, and they all look a little different. Take a look and see which one suits you." Link took out a USB flash drive.

The collector took it, then plugged it into his device and pulled up several design drawings.

One of them was designed by Link based on the Minerva from Gundam SEED. It doesn't need to carry Gundams, so it can easily accommodate a large number of fighter jets. At the same time, its shape makes it easy to build a space dock.

Earth's situation is different from that of advanced civilizations in the universe; it is not a true interstellar civilization that has entered the universe, and the Avengers will not have many members.
