Chapter 149 Healing

Chapter 149 Healing

Chapter 149 Healing

Solving the other party's problem cannot be done with simple medicine; it requires gene repair, something Link is familiar with and has even studied thoroughly.

He has completely mastered both Earth-based knowledge and the extraterrestrial technology he subsequently acquired. Dr. Karl Marus's dilemma simply does not exist in his presence.

Link quickly developed a serum!

Elisa's problem lies in the instability of her genes, requiring long-term medication to maintain her condition, while Jessica is a special case with stable genes.

Because they are mother and daughter, the side effects are the same, but there are still slight differences in their genes.

The serum developed by Link was quickly produced, since the Osborn Building was mostly filled with laboratories, and the raw materials were plentiful.

Link injected Alyssa directly, and Alyssa asked in surprise, "Are you sure there won't be any problems?"

"Of course, don't forget, the Avengers also got some alien technology." Link smiled. "Take a nap, you'll be fine when you wake up."

Alyssa suddenly felt her eyelids become very heavy, and then her body went limp. Link immediately hugged his mother-in-law and took her to the guest room so that she could rest there.

When Jessica got home, she immediately asked Link, "How is my mother?"

"Don't worry, the treatment serum has been injected. She's sleeping now and won't wake up until tomorrow morning," Link said. "But what are you going to do next?"

Jessica paused for a moment, then said, "I want to talk to her tomorrow."

Link nodded slightly, then asked Jessica to go to the guest room to check on his wife, Elisa, while Link was in charge of dinner.

……

The next morning, Elisa stretched and felt so good; she hadn't slept so soundly in a long time.

She got up and realized that Jessica was sleeping next to her. She reached out to stroke her daughter's cheek, but suddenly stopped.

She sensed the difference in herself, reached up and touched her head, and found that her wig was gone.

Because of the severe burns, she can't grow hair at all, so she has been wearing a wig, and now her scalp feels cool.

She hurriedly got up, looked around, and found the bathroom. She rushed in and looked in the mirror.

Thanks to Dr. Karl Marus's information, her face was repaired, but the back of her head was still covered in scars.

And now?

Her scars were gone, the back of her head had fully recovered, and when she touched the top of her head, she felt stubble, meaning her hair had grown back.

She was somewhat agitated, and her eyes welled up with tears, but there was no sign of her emotions spiraling out of control.

The bathroom door opened, and Jessica stood in the doorway, saying, "Lin is amazing. If he says it's okay, then it's okay. You're all better now."

"Jessica!" Elisa excitedly hugged her daughter.

"Oh~" Jessica felt a sharp pain in her body. "He didn't remove your power. Be gentle."

"I'm sorry, I'm too..." Elisa couldn't express her emotions in words.

Jessica hugged her mother and said, "All the toiletries are new, please wash up first!"

"I'll go back to the bedroom to wash up. The clothes are mine. We're about the same size. After breakfast, we can have a good chat."

Jessica turned and left the guest room, returning to the master bedroom. Link was still lying in bed. Jessica came to his side and leaned down to kiss Link's forehead.

Link hugged his wife tightly. "How are you?"

"Very good, not only are your injuries healed, but your emotions are also very stable, thank you!" Jessica lay on Link's chest, feeling extremely at ease.

Link stroked his wife's hair and said, "You two have a good talk. I'll go out after breakfast. You can stay home."

"Okay!" Jessica got up and went to wash up. Link also got up and followed her into the bathroom.

Breakfast was simple. After eating, Link left and opened a spatial portal to the ground headquarters. He was there to check on the twins' training progress.

Wanda and Pietro have been training for more than half a year, and Link wants to test them to see if they are capable of fighting.

They have no problem dealing with ordinary people, but the Avengers' opponents will keep getting stronger and stronger, and the battles will be truly dangerous. They can't let their guard down just because they have a vibranium suit.

……

Upon arriving at the ground headquarters, "Afu, where are everyone?"

He appeared in his own room. Everyone is assigned a room. Compared to the space headquarters, the ground headquarters has fewer people, since there is no need for combat here.

"Sir, they are all in the training room." Alfred is still one of the artificial intelligences here.

Link pushed open the door and walked into the training room, a huge space designed to accommodate the use of various abilities.

Pietro is undergoing evasion training; he has adapted to the speed and is no longer clumsy. Wanda, on the other hand, is practicing movement.

Relying on its own chaotic magic, it continuously releases and moves.

Link watched and felt it was pretty good; at least they weren't slacking off and were consistently carrying out the training they had set.

"Alright, stop for a second!" Link clapped his hands and said.

The two stopped, and Pietro asked with some surprise, "Lin, you're here?"

"We haven't been slacking off, so can we join the battle now?"

"I can see you haven't been slacking off, but whether you can participate in the battle is still up for debate. Now put on your battle suits!" Link walked to the side and picked up two pistols.

With a "click," he cocked the gun and turned to ask, "Ready?"

Pietro was already in his battle suit, along with Wanda. Link raised his hand, "Bang bang..."

Bullets rained down on Wanda, but Pietro vanished from his spot in an instant, his massive battle blade raised in front of him. "Clang, clang..."

Fifteen bullets were blocked in a row. Link reached for another magazine, changed it, and continued firing.

This time, Wanda used magic to push Pietro away, and then she used magic to create a barrier in front of herself.

After Link ran out of bullets, she suddenly took control of the pistol in Link's hand, tore it apart, and then fired a shockwave at Link.

Link leaped to the side to dodge, and after getting up, he said, "Not bad, I can join the fight now."

Link didn't use telekinesis. Although it could be made public, since it's not needed now, it's best to keep it a secret for the time being.

Pietro asked excitedly, "Where shall we two be stationed?"
