Chapter 152 Resolving the Crisis
Chapter 152 Resolving the Crisis
Chapter 152 Resolving the Crisis
The Ancient One breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Link knew everything, but he didn't take any action, which showed that he was telling the truth.
"You are too powerful, especially with the Infinity Stones. As you said, you can't place your hopes on others," the Ancient One said. "Therefore, I cannot teach you magic."
"However, the Reality Stone is more than enough for you."
Link nodded and asked, "And what about Wanda?"
"Can we find the witch?"
The Ancient One shook her head and said, "The witch's power is equally strong. I don't know what will happen in the future, but disaster will still strike."
"..." Link paused, "Can I tell you?"
The Ancient One looked at Link, and the answer was obvious: she couldn't say anything.
Link pondered for a moment, then grinned and said, "It seems something unexpected will happen. That means I won't be on Earth anymore. How could that be?"
"The powerful beings in the universe probably already know of my existence. The current peace is not normal. They will try to deal with me, especially Thanos."
"It seems that you powerful beings of the universe all have your own methods of observing each other. Is it energy?"
"You are very intelligent," the Ancient One said. "However, your energy is different from theirs. You are like a blazing sun; you are too bright in the eyes of the strong."
Link suddenly realized that it was like Asgard, where the god-king Odin would collect dark energy, which is invisible to the naked eye and cannot be detected even by current scientific instruments on Earth. It is the opposite of light energy.
However, it is ubiquitous and its quantity is enormous.
It permeates every corner of the universe; there are speculations about it on Earth, but no evidence has been found.
The leap in life is estimated to be related to it, but is the current technological development on Earth going against it?
Even Link couldn't develop the equipment himself to search for it without any prior knowledge.
"Alright, let's solve your problem now!" Gu Yi said. "I'll take you there directly, the rest is up to you."
"Do you need my help?" Link asked. "To deal with the Dark Lord?"
"No, that was a test I left for Strange, you know him." After saying that, the Ancient One immediately took action and opened another portal for Link. Link did not hesitate and stepped into it.
After he entered, he saw a hollow space with a huge sphere beating like a heart.
Link clenched his left hand, and a huge spatial passage opened. Link stepped forward, lifted the Celestial Plant, and sent it into the spatial passage.
The next moment, he appeared outside Earth with the seed, floating in space, directly bathed in sunlight, where Link was waiting.
Let's see if the Celestials appear!
As expected, the Judge Arithm appeared, a huge vortex materialized out of thin air, and then Arithm's tall figure emerged.
"Earth's strongest, are you sure you want to do this?" Arithm did not make a move immediately.
Link said, "The Earth does not accept destruction. If you want, we can fight, even if it costs us our lives."
"I understand!" Arithm had no intention of fighting desperately. He guided the seed and turned back into the vortex.
The idea that a Celestial must be born every billion years is utter nonsense, Link scoffed. It's just an excuse for the Celestial race to reproduce.
Link opened a spatial portal and returned home. He didn't go looking for the Ancient One anymore. The Ancient One had already made it very clear, so there was no need for him to learn magic.
The Reality Stone is indeed quite useful; it is a spell generator in itself, transforming reality. What else could it be but magic?
Link stopped worrying about learning magic!
……
In the universe, Thanos was searching for a way to subdue Link when a mysterious figure appeared.
Thanos couldn't see his appearance clearly; he suddenly appeared in front of him, but Thanos remained silent.
"Are you here to kill me?" Thanos spoke first.
"Kill you? Why would I want to kill you?" The other person's tone was full of mockery. "I hope you can continue doing what you want to do, but now you've run into some trouble."
"I'm here to help you solve your problem."
"..." Thanos was taken aback. "What trouble?"
Thanos doesn't acknowledge that the Earthling is indeed powerful, but he might have a way to deal with him. Of course, he can't yet make a definitive judgment on just how strong the opponent is.
"Kling, that Earthling, is so powerful that even the Celestials have to back down. Of course, he has too many Infinity Stones," the mysterious figure said. "But I can help you. Whether I can kill him, I don't know."
"But I can send him away."
"Send him away?" Thanos said. "He has the Space Stone; no matter where you send him, he can come back."
"Of course not this universe, but other universes, parallel universes," the mysterious figure said. "You know that universes don't exist in isolation. This universe is surrounded by a multiverse, and the rulers within it are exceptionally powerful."
"But that's not enough. He can easily return here, but he can't do that in a parallel universe."
"There are many parallel universes. If he doesn't understand the situation, he will get lost in them, traveling through them one by one. He doesn't know how long it will take to get back."
"And by then, won't your job be done?"
Thanos hadn't expected his opponent to possess such methods, but a question remained: "How can you guarantee you can get rid of him?"
"It's not my guarantee, it's yours alone. You need to fight him and find an opportunity to send him into the passage I've opened," the mysterious figure said. "I won't appear; I'm just here to offer assistance."
"Do you accept this method?"
Thanos was in a dilemma. It was an opportunity, but also a crisis. He didn't know who the other party was or what their purpose was.
He knew what he was doing. Thanos then asked, "And what about the Infinity Stones?"
"The Infinity Stones were born in this universe. Once that person leaves, the Infinity Stones will reappear in other places, and his Infinity Stones will become decorations." The mysterious man seemed to know a lot about the Infinity Stones.
"Alright, I agree, but I need to plan this out carefully," Thanos said. "I need to understand what you mean by 'passage'."
"Of course, now I'll tell you..." the other person began to explain.
Link was unaware that someone was already targeting him. Although they weren't confident they could eliminate him, they could send him away.
