Chapter 165 Wayne's Mindset
Chapter 165 Wayne's Mindset
Bruce Wayne's lakeside villa has a cave beneath the lake, which serves as Batman's base. After entering, Link looked around and thought it was quite nice.
Built around the environment, it has a strong sense of technology. Link put down his luggage.
Bruce Wayne went to take off his equipment; he wasn't thinking of fighting Link, who was clearly not someone to mess with.
Alfred looked at Link in surprise; Link had flown in, which clearly indicated he had special abilities.
Bruce Wayne began by asking, "Now that we're here, may I introduce myself?"
"Link, I come from another universe." Link recounted his origins, leaving Bruce Wayne and Alfred speechless with astonishment.
Marvel?
The comic has come true, and I am also in the comic in the other person's universe?
"I need to leverage your financial resources, as well as the technology and equipment of the Wayne Group, to research quantum channels in order to enter the quantum realm. This is an extremely dangerous place, and I must be careful," Link said.
Wayne thought for a moment and asked, "Do you know what happened with the aliens before?"
Link then explained the situation with the aliens and what he and Superman had done. Wayne frowned and asked, "So, can you destroy Superman?"
Link laughed and said, "Why would I want to destroy Superman?"
"He poses too great a threat to Earth. If he decides to do something, Earth simply cannot stop him." That was Wayne's line of thinking.
"Why would Batman, who doesn't kill, choose to destroy Superman?" Link tilted his head slightly, looking at him. "Your thinking is very problematic."
"The appearance of Kryptonians has already reminded you that aliens are real and technologically advanced. Anyone who can reach Earth is more powerful than Earth."
"Superman's existence can effectively stop them, unless there is a leap in life on Earth, or technological bandits make rapid progress and quickly enter the interstellar age."
"However, neither of these methods is realistic."
"Conventional weapons on Earth are no match for alien warships. I was a little slow to act so that Earth could see clearly, and now you're telling me we need to eliminate Superman?"
"What kind of logic is that?"
"..." Wayne paused, then realized it was true. "Will aliens come to Earth?"
"You're placing your hopes on aliens, but not on Superman?" Link asked again. "Alright, I'm not here to discuss this with you, I'm here to inform you that I'm not from this universe. I wouldn't hesitate to destroy this place to go home."
"Superman is not weak, and I'm not 100% confident in fighting him, but I'm very confident in fighting Earthlings."
"..." Wayne was stunned again. He felt like an idiot, trying to negotiate with the other party?
"Okay, you need to give me a list," Wayne said.
"Find me a room first. I'm not trying to take advantage of you. I can help you improve your skills to enhance your strength. You are worthy of respect for fighting evil with a mortal body." Link said, pointing to his watch.
The nanosuit quickly covered his entire body, followed by the energy gun. "I can provide you with new energy sources, new elements, and nanotechnology."
"These are enough to significantly boost your strength. Now, we'll design an artificial intelligence system to assist you in combat."
Batman was surprised to hear this.
"Thank you!" Wayne said sincerely.
Link settled down here, and he should be able to live peacefully for a while. Because of Superman's presence, Earth's Mother Box dared not activate and send out messages.
As for the other minor issues, someone else would naturally take care of them. So he first gave Batman the technology, then made a list, and the two of them got busy.
Link set up a separate spot for himself and began to try to build a quantum portal. He also wanted to study Pym Particles, but these were not essential. He planned to combine the effects of the Reality Stone with the abilities of the Space Stone.
He wanted to see if he could open a quantum channel, but he wasn't sure, so he decided to study the equipment first.
All four gems were given to him. The Mind Stone enhanced his telekinesis, which is why he could build houses so quickly. The Space Stone allowed him to open spatial portals, which became his superpower even in the DC universe.
The Power Stone allowed him to unleash devastating light-speed attacks, and he used this to destroy the world's engine.
The Reality Stone grants the user magical abilities to turn their thoughts into reality.
The Infinity Stones belong to the rules of a universe and possess immense energy. They cannot exist in the DC Universe because they infuse their last bit of energy into themselves.
Because of his superhuman physique, Link's body has limitless potential, and crucially, his genes are not Kryptonian genes.
……
Bruce Wayne was not idle. On one hand, he was implementing the technology Link had given him, and on the other hand, he began to gather information about Superman, who had already arrived in Metropolis and begun saving humanity.
Clark went to the Daily Planet and became a reporter, with Lois Lane mentoring him, which does coincide with some TV shows.
Link gave Bruce Wayne Iron Man's technology to see how he would choose: whether to remain his Batman or become Iron Man.
This was quite interesting, and Link took a moment to observe it.
It has to be said that Bruce Wayne has a special fondness for bats. The new suit he created is still in the Batman style, and thanks to nanotechnology, his cape can turn into wings.
Link was speechless, but he had already given them the technology, so what they wanted to do or how they wanted to make it was none of his business. He continued his research in the quantum realm.
And so, time slowly passed.
Besides building brand new gear, Bruce Wayne was making preparations in private; his personality is unchangeable.
He began searching for people with special powers, but he wasn't entirely comfortable with Superman and Link. He wanted to find their weaknesses and also find helpers.
Now, the person he wants to kill most is not Superman, but Link, because Link is not from this universe. Although he wants to go home, what if Link gains control of the communication between the two universes and wants to invade their space?
It has to be said that his thoughts were absolutely dark, which is typical of the DC Universe. Link was unaware of this and never imagined that the other party would think this way.
At this point, he had already begun constructing the quantum channel.
