Wang Hao shook his head and didn’t speak.

"A million?" Zhang Ying asked, her expression surprised.

"That’s right, it’s a million." Wang Hao said while holding his girlfriend.

Baldie also sensed something was wrong. Xiaoliu was supposed to be waiting outside, but after all this shouting, no one came in.

What was even stranger was that his heart longed for the two women and his subordinates, but instead, it was just this young man standing there.

Baldie’s heart sank as he realized he’d been deceived.

It seemed that Ye Chen and Liu Zi had planned this together to lure him here, and then that guy left.

Just as he thought, after seeing Baldie enter the warehouse, Xiaoliu quickly turned the car around and left, not even daring to pause for a moment.

"If you dare lay a hand on me, my guys won’t let you off easily once they find out." Baldie threatened again.

He knew no one could help him now, and all he could do was try to save himself.

The only thing he could think of was to scare off this young man to save himself.

Usually, a regular person might hesitate upon hearing this, but Ye Chen wasn’t someone who could be easily frightened.

"Baldie, you picked the wrong person. If I was afraid, I wouldn’t be here waiting for you." Ye Chen said helplessly.

Then he continued: "Maybe your guys will seek revenge, but that’ll have to wait until they can walk again, which might be a few months later."

Hearing Ye Chen’s words, Baldie’s eyes widened in shock. He hadn’t seen his men earlier; could it be they were all taken down by him?

Baldie looked at Ye Chen with fear in his eyes.

To think he could defeat so many of his subordinates single-handedly was terrifying.

Seeing the young man approaching him step by step, Baldie now truly felt fear. He even sensed the presence of death.
